Thanks, guys. That helped with an experiment I was doing. Looks like it's entirely possible to implement some nice bell-like forum notification from my end. I just need to find out where a certain access token is hiding; I'll hunt for it this weekend. Wish me luck.

I just noticed my purple dot moved* from COMMUNITY to My Username, and upon expanding I see it attached to Activity feed.

* After being attached to COMMUNITY for the past weeks, seemingly unaware if the dot was due to a reply or Activity feed.

I assume if I now get a reply in a thread I will have two different dots? try replying to this one so I can check :)

Well it did it, I had 2, I repeat T-W-O purple dots: one next to COMMUNITY and attached to forum replies, and the previous one!

This is actually a major improvement, who would have known Gog can actually deliver...
Though now, I can't really understand why Friend requests should be part of the Bell along with promos...

Actually, I would like the community opinion:
What do you guys think the bell should be used for?
Do you think Gog should add a 3rd dot - attached to Games under your Username to notify there are {important} game updates?
Maybe the last one should only appear in Galaxy / and only for games actually installed?

I think your dots are bugged as I still get only one dot every time someone replies to my post.

I only have one dot for forum replies.
The other dot is next to my Username, attached to Activity feed, which I didn't clear for purpose of this experiment.

As mentioned above, up to the last weekend, the only dot I had was next to COMMUNITY, and was actually due to Activity feed.
But as that dot moved to the new location, I now get potentially two dots, when I both have a reply AND Activity feed updates.

Time for another bump then!
