I've been trying to search topics with 2 words. I wanted to search on "your wallet" and it just comes back with "your%20wallet" not found, substituting "%20" for every space. Is THAT why it's not finding anything?

I tried searching for phrases that I knew existed in the forum, such as "games finished" because I was looking at a topic by that title, but same thing... no "games%20finished" criteria found. I could successfully search on single word phrases, like the word "search".

Infuriating. Multi-word searches do work OK with the search icon (magnify glass) for game titles. Just not within the forum.

Years ago. Not fantastically well, but better than the current situation.

The search has been broken for years. I wonder if it ever will be fixed.

FWIW, I found I can use my browser's search bar to enter phrases like "your wallet site:gog.com" and found what I needed that way. Only good if you like Google looking over your shoulder all the time...

Well that seems to work but you don't have to use google...It works also on other search engines such as duckduckgo

It appears to have gotten much worse. % is used to specify a replacement for a "URL unsafe character." In this case, 0x20, which is "space." Normally something would turn this to a + or something, but this is broken at this point. I was just searching for something else when i noticed the same issue. Now i have to figure out how they used to parse it before it broke.

Must have been before many of us join GOG. Never worked for me either...

Forum search was never stellar, but at least I was able to search for 2 words and find some results. Ever since 2018-2019, though, I have never been able to make a forum search with more than 1 word.

GOG sabotaged the ability to include links in messages following some spam wave a couple years ago, I would not be surprised if they broke the search in the same operation.

This search function is beyond useless which is why I would suggest you to use your favorite search engine: search term(s) site:www.gog.com/forum/ and browse the results.
