So yes, I have got a bit fed up with downloading Xgb each time. So question is, are these two games in a resonable state to sped the hours of download to get them yet, or are we still in use the gamers as a test base phase? P: KM appears to have updates every other day and at nearly 24gb thats just not a good idea.
So are they in reasonable state at the moment, or leave for another month or so?
Pathfinder kingmaker is absolutely not in a reasonable state, I would pass on it for a few more months. It basically seems to have had no sort of playtesting or quality control, I expect they will be fixing things for a good long while yet.

I haven't played KC:deliverance since it came out and had so many game breaking bugs I gave up on it. I would be interested to hear if it has improved by now.

If you're not using Galaxy, hold off on that. They are getting patches fairly frequently and seem to have trouble figuring out how to fix broken mechanics.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

I can say atleast for me that KC:D is stable and haven't had any crashes or major bugs since the latest patch lauched just few minor ones.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is another story altogether and i can almosy guarantee you will run into to some nasty bugs sooner or later, there's still quest bugs, disappearing items etc for me.

Owlcat would make Bethesda proud if they where to compete for making the buggiest game possible and what's even worse about it is that the game seem quite fun outside of it's massive amount of technical issues but they seem to put out patches rapidly atleast.

Such a shame too because it looks like I'd enjoy the hell out of it mechanically, but for that the mechanics need to work >.<

I hope they keep up the patching till it's in an acceptable state
As already mentioned, wait on Pathfinder, it's so buggy that it shouldn't have been released to begin with. Kingdom Come looks much better in comparison.
KC:D 1.7 is stable here so far, about 1/2 into the game. No bugs - and I'm not doing just mainquests either.

I think you should be more than happy with Kingdom Come. It was the third or so major patch (released about a week or two after the game released?) that really got the game up to "release state." Before that you had to do a bit of tweaking - after it the game performed as it should have out of the box (it had a lot of weird stuttering that shouldn't be there).

The early game can be a bit tough because your guy sucks LOL. But once swordplay opens up and you start exploring, it's actually a lot of fun to slowly gear up, wander and just sort of "live" in this world. The storyline is someone interesting (large events rolling in the background while you navigate your way up in status - building your relationship with the dickish Hans Capon named in the recent DLC is actually a lot of fun - I like how the local lord uses it to "improve" both your character and the young lord).

I actually didn't realize there was a FIRST expansion until this new one released - the idea of it actually sounds kinda cool (building a little village). Anyway - obviously your mileage may vary but I really enjoyed my time with the game - and from a technical standpoint I think it's more than ready and bug free.

Well when I was playing I was thrown 200 feet into the air when I tried to do alchemy, among other problems, that's just the one that really stuck out. Walk up to my first alchemy station, and suddenly I'm being thrown up over the forest for a couple of minutes, only to come crashing down and die. Witchcraft! I also had the game crash if you do a practice round of archery before entering the tournament. It's good to hear that it might be stable now.
I suppose one other question here, this is the first part is it not, they plan to finish the the story of KC later on with a second or dlc if I remember right?
KC works fine for me. I can't say anything about the DLC's, as i do not have those yet, hence i don't know if there are any outstanding bugs related to those.

Pathfinder Kingmaker seems that is progressing nicely towards what it should have been right from launch. Plus, the devs seem to care enough to actually work on solving the problems.

If you have to chose, well, KC: Deliverance seems to be the most stable right now. And i am enjoying it a lot. But if you want to play Kingmaker...well, i think that would be better to hold on until most of the outstanding issues are patched.

LOL well that's just hilarious - and annoying ;) Can't say I ever came across that one so hopefully it's pretty stable now. And I say that as someone who LOVED alchemy - seriously I know it was a bit time consuming but I can't think of a game that had a better or more thematic implementation of alchemy than this game. I wholly enjoyed mixing up my various potions (and spent a good bit of time doing it).

The little minigames are just awesome - alchemy especially and also just sharpening your blade on a stone. But also hunting and (once you get better at it as a character) archery.

I think I ended up sinking over 100 hours in this game (cough - a bit embarrassing that I play games that long, I know - but hey it was over like 4 or 6 months!) but I never solved it. I wandered around a lot and I think I moved pretty far along in the main storyline...

BUT... I have heard it ends on a huge cliffhanger / pretty incomplete ending. I guess the HOPE is that it's finished in a sequel, and I *think* the game did well enough to warrent it, but obviously it's not set in stone. So you might want to go into the game with that in mind. For me personally, I sunk a huge amount of time into it and was more than satisfied. If you're someone who wants the game to be self contained and get a solid wrap to the story, you might not find the ending you're looking for.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker is in that comical early stage where every time the developers release a patch, they end up accidentally breaking something else. It's like watching a guy trying to build a house of cards in a wind tunnel. Whilst wearing boxing gloves.

Kingdom Come has been out for around 7 months so its in fairly decent shape, and isn't really plagued with any more bugs than the average playthrough of Skyrim, a game that's been out for 7 years.
Thanks for all the feedback. I have taken the plunge and downloaded KC:D, so will have a go at that next.
