Screamshield: I personally never understood this term ''AAA''. For me it holds no real meaning. There are only two types of games from my viewpoint.
Type 1:Games that i want to play.
Type 2:Games that i don't want to play.
teceem: AAA is about the (relative) budget for making a game. So theoretically it makes sense that a great game can only improve from having had an AAA budget. In reality, sadly enough it's just not that simple.
So ''AAA'' stands for expensive games? That is just silly. How can the cost of producing a game mean anything when nowadays we have games being developed in different countries(with different costs of labor), different funds management(mismanagement of funds can inflate the cost), different focus(expensive actors or cheaper, more marketing or less marketing etc.).
P.S. Who came up with this term ''AAA'' is the first place?
