I hate Windows, gaming is the only reason I still use Windows,I want to migrate to the Mac+SteamOS ecosystem, but I don’t want to give up the inventory in GOG.

You can use launchers like Lutris or Heroic Game Launcher to install your games using WINE or Proton.

You can also learn how to install your games manually using WINE.

Some games do have Linux launchers but they are tested on Ubuntu so they may not work on distributions not based on Ubuntu.

I use Zorin Linux and haven't had an issue running GOG games thanks to Lutris and Heroic.

game on your mac though, just like with red hat, linux will never be popular, even with the help of another corporation (valve btw)
Why Mac? They'll cut your fingers off and charge you for the pleasure, too.

Just slamma jamma that proper Asahi Linux on your Mac.

I haven't had issues running games on Linux with the exception of games that were packaged wrong.
Meet Jake. He absolutely cannot stand Steam. Whenever someone on GOG brings up Steam, he loses it, screaming and threatening to destroy everything in sight. For everyone's safety, we keep him in a cage and a straitjacket. Surprisingly, he's become something of a tourist attraction, but we genuinely empathize with him. This situation serves as a reminder that any of us could end up like this. Jake has chosen to voice his frustration, and it's evident; just look at him chewing on that bar. We really do feel for Jake.
