So I noticed that they don't have Call of Duty or any of the previous Battlefield series, is it possible you reckon for them to add it to the service, as it says you can do cross play against steam players and maybe it could be possible for it to be done by Origin, but having the original BF 1942 DRM free would be awesome to play with my friends especially lan wise haha, like the good old days, also do you think Dota 2 is a possible thing for GOG to add as well?
Possible? Yes, Likely? No.

Just FYI (you may already realize this), it's up to publishers to give the "go ahead" to add games that GOG knows would sell well. I'm sure GOG wants Call of Duty, but it's up to Activision. (I think we'll see Call of Duty 1 & 2 show up eventually, especially given that Activision has been releasing classics here again.) Battlefield is up to EA; maybe but I wouldn't hold out for any major changes to multiplayer (Galaxy integration or whatever).

DOTA 2? That's Valve, and GOG and Valve/Steam are competitors, so no chance.
As tfishell mentioned, whether any games makes it 2 GOG depends on if the publisher is willing 2 make the games available here. Of cos i think GOG on their side will do their best to nego with the publishers if there is enough demand/wishlist 4 the games as we but ultimately it's not up 2 GOG 2 decide. I personally wld loved to get DRM-free versions of COD 1 & 2 as well as Battlefield 1942 & 2 over here also so all we can do is wait 4 them 2 show up which i think they shd eventually, though games fr Activision hv a higher chance than EA imo.

As 4 Dota2, u can 4get abt it as it belongs 2 Valve which hv their own platform Steam so i dun c any reason 4 them 2 release it here, not 2 mention it's basically a free game as well so there's actually no 'price' 4 the game. Haha.

Well, I never thought we would get big Bethesda titles on GOG, nor EA games like Crysis and Dragon Age.
So you never really know. We might get some of the older Battlefield games one day.
Battlefield 1942 might very well arrive on GOG. It's just a matter of whether or not EA decides to let it happen. DotA 2 is a different story - the chance of GOG getting that is close to nil.

Well, after we got Dragon Age Origins, Crysis, Dead Space, Oblivion and Fallout 3/New Vegas - i think we will get at some point early CoD/Battlefiled games. Actually, i think that this is pretty strange that first ten CoDs isn't here already or Battlefields up to 3/BC 2.
