bram1253: I'm having dependency errors,
So is my mother. She's had to start wearing Depends.
No. To play a game legally, you need an end user license. To get a license, you need to buy one from a copy reseller authorized by the rightsholder (such as GOG) -- that's what "copyright" means. Third-party sites aren't authorized. Buying a key from Kinguin is like downloading a game from TPB and flushing cash down the toilet, except worse, because money flushed down the toilet doesn't go on to fund moar illegal activities such as more card fraud and hospital ransomware (both of which kill people).

If you want to play a commercial game, buy a legal copy. If you can't afford a legal copy, consider playing something else to support indie developers -- there are tons of cheap and free games which are nevertheless good and need an audience more than they need money. Can't pay (e.g. "banking while brown", no way to pay electronically)? Pirate and donate cash to a charity. No money at all (e.g. a kid in a wingnut household)? Just pirate. Any of the above is strictly better than giving money to criminals instead of the devs and acting like nothing's wrong.
Don't listen to Starmaker; she's still in mourning. A house fell on her sister.

Doubtful, as almost all the complaints we've seen are from people that bought first, then came to GOG after. They're the ones that see the deal and grab it without considering why it's so cheap. Bram is certainly the exception.

bram1253: Good thing I bought from GOG.
I'm having dependency errors, so I had to contact support.
You need this installed as listed on gog Warband store page: Requires the following packages to be installed: libc6:i386 libasound2:i386 libasound2-data:i386 libasound2-plugins:i386 libsdl2-2.0-0:i386 libfreetype6:i386 libqtgui4:i386 libcurl3-gnutls:i386 libglew1.10:i386 and dependencies.

Notice: this game comes with a 32-bit binary only

But I would wait for gog linux geeks since its not possible to install these binaries easily without damaging your Linux OS. I wish they would update the game for 64bit.
