The return policy is clearly explained in the website. It's a reasonable compromise, considering GOG is trusting their customers with DRM-free products and offers technical support to get them to work beyond what any other store does. If anything, it's a reason why GOG should be doing well.

Unloyal: It might help if they quit selling games that don't work, and when you ask for a refund they spend days trying to get you to fix the game when all you want is a refund because you just really dont want to load a game thats going to force you to power down your PC.
It *might* also help if you listen to this song while necroing threads: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jl6s6owOKMI

Did you even read and understand what toxicTom wrote? From your reply it seems you just randomly chose a post that even remotely were critical of GOG...

Also taken completely out of context. Around that time many roamed around like headless chicken in full panicky-mode thinking GOG was a sinking ship because of financial reasons! Ergo the thread title. :D

many games are broken on GOG and this is not GOG's fault its the fault of game devs who think GOG users are just shit under there shoes, saints row 2 a perfect example of a good game broken on GOG cos the devs dnt care.

Q4 2018 or 2018 overall would be more appropriate to this old thread...

Sounds like it'd be prudent to take care of two birds with one stone: shore up brand identity by stopping resources on this money loser of a DRMed game.
im satisfied with gog (as for me, gog only would bring more old games although i understand the future is in newer ones).

im not even registered on steam and its shitloads of rentalware garbage leaves me uncaring :)

GOG should be ashamed, how dare they helping you with your problems ?
Trying their best to make your games works on your computer ? Nonsense !
The automatic reply from the Steam support is much more friendly and helpful.

What is wrong with Saints Row 2 that you consider it broken, needs to be fixed and shouldn't be on GOG.

Hard to say. It made plenty when it released, now the infrastructure *might* cost some. One oddity of the 3rd quarter was the dates of the expansion releases. One came at the end of June and preorders were applied in the 2nd quarter report. The next 3 monthly expansion released beginning of Oct so it falls into the 4th quarter. Preorders get applied to the quarter of their release date. So the 3rd quarter was missing a release in terms of accounting.

that has less to do with gog itself and more to do with the fact that it's a terrible port of an already janky game.

hehe - the irony of this post is too much

(in case people missed it - the PC version of SR2 was developed by CD Project)
