Both the cards I have access to 100% refuse payment. Is there something wrong with GOG in general at the moment?

It seems I'm having the same issue I tried to pay using Paypal and it is supposed to redirect to Paypal but it just says please wait and it then just sits there for 10 minutes

Quite common for Steam to fall over like this in big sales, but not GOG. PayPal is always the first thing GOG claim "will solve all payment problems"..... well if *that* isn't working neither GOG are a losing a LOT of sales right now.

Have you tried clearing any PayPal cookies and trying again? I didn't get any long delays when I made a purchase a couple of hours ago.

EDIT: Sorry, only just noticed that I absent-mindedly clicked on "New Post" instead of replying to the PayPal post above.

I certainly hope gog have this fixed by the time Blades Of The Shogun comes out.

I've not got a PayPal account yet. (And won't be getting one). Just another chance for someone to steal your bank info IMO..... looks like I'll have no choice but to make one for GOG though. (Or maybe never buy from GOG again) Direct debit cards seem to be just working on GOG these days. Some other users report GOG is even rejecting PayPal attempts! There definately *is* a problem at GOG's end, not just ours, or our banks. So far no official GOG comment on this.

Do what Blakstar said and clear the cookies. I've had previous issues with PayPal not working and clearing cookies did the trick.

Also, using card details works fine for me so again, try the method above.

Please don't make multiple threads of the same problem.

Actually I only made one - and replied to a couple of others on the same subject. It's not exactly a spam-flood. It won't derail the entire forum. Calm down!
Blakstar was quoting a solution to a different problem to mine. Cookies have nothing to do with PayPal for me, I can't even get an account due to no access to a mobile phone (well not right now anyway) - I'll be changing banks anyway within the next few weeks - so may as well leave any PayPal account creations until then. I've tried several cards, so it's not "the bank" blocking GoG, it *IS* GoG, other users are reporting it, but GoG don't seem to be fessing up / sorting it out. Their loss. Just tried my card directly on GoG just 30 mins ago - but still no go here.
