Yes that's true.. This discussion isn't going anywhere, anyway. I still wonder why "somebody" still insists in enforcing DRM if it's so completely useless, unless I'm missing something.

On the contrary, I see it as wanting to take away one of the very few options those of us who'd rather have DRM-free over bragging about our game achievements or whatever other convenience have, just so they can have one more choice.
But reading some of the OP's other posts, it looks to me that he's just here to plain and simple advocate in favour of DRM, which makes me sceptical. Not interested in playing their game, so I'm out.

(I'm not playing a "you said" game. A discussion which labels participants as this or that is worthless. A discussion is only worth having if it advances the understanding of the issue.)
So in general you see DRM as perfectly fine for most consumers. (In this case I'm not using a general 'you'.)

True story, my brother told me my limited bandwidth was a flimsy excuse because all I need to do is just move. :P I wonder how fast his middle finger would go up if I told him to "just move". XD

No idea. appearances? But I've been a pirate for many years, and it only bothered me once I started paying for games.

Games bought on Steam don't need to be tied to Steam to work. Some are perfectly playable without it. There's a list somewhere but I know Far Cry 2 is one. There's no advantage to Steam that requires DRM. In other words, there's no advantage to Steam that GOG couldn't implement in Galaxy given the time and talent to do so.
Is DRM that bad? Well I've never not been able to play a game because it's DRM-free. I've never had to jump through hoops for 3/4 of an hour to get a game working because it's DRM-free. I've never had malicious files installed on my computer that cannot be removed without formatting because I've installed DRM-free games.

I have no issue with DRM-free offering features people ask for, even if I don't care for them, so long as DRM-free isn't compromised or dropped. If what they're asking for is not doable without using DRM, and they argue in favour of it, then I have an issue, because that's already available elsewhere, and plenty, while DRM-free is not. I don't think that my position was unclear in my previous post.

I don't think there's anything that can be achieved by DRM directly. The only thing DRM does is try to enforce things. You can do without DRM anything you can do with DRM, and it would work as long as most people are trustworthy. As long as people are willing to run a client there's no problem to do anything that a DRM client would achieve. It's simply that without DRM the client would be optional.

Ignorance. Either their own, or their attempt to keep others in the dark about the bad waste of money they've been guilty of for years now. Saying that DRM is useless after years of using it at great expense when the only thing it achieves is costing them custom is something that requires explanation.

Well, I also don;t appreciate the censorship on workshop, and overall I don't think they have as many exclusives as Nexus.... But I never counted them.
