I bought Ion Fury last month, and I was able to download it when I bought it.
And now it is not appearing in my games list.

When I go to the shop page I only get "buy it as a gift".

What is wrong?

also: please do not convince me into downloading Galaxy, because I'm more than good with the offline installers.

You don't download it from the shop page, you down'load it from your account page.
You should find it here. https://www.gog.com/account

And don't worry, you definitely don't need galaxy. You can just download the offline installers, and away you go. ( :
