Tbh I think it's more so that Lift tried a claim/play fitting of a game set in bizarre world, and didn't so so good at them that there thing.

Fwiw I don't think it' would affect much, as it sounds like our pal Joe will be rendering all that juicy infoz null and void quite soon enough. I had an investigative role and struck gold on N0. I was told that I had investigated someone and the result could only mean that my target was scum. So of course I claimed and shared my result. Because I assumed that with that kind of investigative role I was Town. But then it turned out that I was scum after all, a little fact that my role PM failed to mention.

It should have been a hint for me that I got a QT link without comment, but that didn't work. So I assumed that that QT would become relevant later and didn't see it as alignment indicative.

Oh my god, a genuine Baka, Watcher of Kalunga moment right there.

Yes. It's the second time that I botched a game because I didn't know that I was scum. I don't remember in which game that was, but there was a game where I assumed that I was neutral SK, because my PM said that I was SK, then I managed to get lynched and was very surprised when I flipped as scum and it was game over.

I've been a SK in a game where it turned out I was the primary villain too. It was a pretty early Twin Peaks inspired game which sadly fell apart when the mod disappeared. :(

When we called time on it and posted our PMs, I posted a fake one based on the falseclaim I was preparing. Everyone was really confused for a while.

Joe kicks Lift in the bum. Lift leaps into the air.
Joe turns to Dogmaus. Joe and Dogmaus decisively nod with satisfaction.
Lift goes to Joe. Knocks Joe's hat onto the floor.
Joe goes to pick up his hat. Lift kicks him in the bum. Joe somersaults into his hat and ends up splayed on the floor with his hat on his head.
Lift turns to Dogmaus. Dogmaus and Lift decisively nod with satisfaction.
Joe goes to Lift. Takes Lifts hat off. Lift watches with concern. Joe puts his arm straight through the crown of Lift's hat. Lift watches with concern. Joe drops Lift's hat onto the floor and stands on it.
Joe turns to Dogmaus. Joe is about to nod decisively but Lift grabs him by the face and the two tussel. They roll about on the floor.

"OKAY OKAY!" Joe cries eventually, and they both stand up and brush themselves down."Alright, sorry everybody, but I think we all know what we need to do now."

Bizarro mambo plays. Everybody forms a mobius conga line. They move round, getting faster. They cross the streams. Reality unfolds. Everybody encounters something about themselves. They conga faster and faster until everybody falls out the other end.

THE GAME HAS BEEN RE-SET. THE SETUP MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE CHANGED. EVERYBODY WILL BE ASSIGNED AT RANDOM A NEW ROLE FROM THE SETUP.
