Sirgod: It's odd, I do have the icon for witcher 1 on there now, but still not for the 2nd one. I did discover, I can simply drag the games up and down, which allowed me to go ahead and install the 1st one.

So , Problem solved!
You can drag and drop the games up and down, as well as it's bonus content (it's order, when you add more than one bonus).
I haven't had the final chunk error again, but the downloader keeps crashing on me.

I'll try to get a log soon
Tried the new beta version of the GOG Downloader (3.3.6.0) and I'm happy with it so far. The download actually gets finished and I don't have to close and reopen the downloader to get the program to finish. Tried one game (The Witcher) and will try it with several others, but for the most part it's working on my end. Thanks a lot GOG.
Well, don't know if it has been posted, but during setup, deleting everything before "\Gog" and trying to enter a new directory crashes the setup.

I didn't have any problems to note with the stable 3.3.5 downloader
I've been having a weird problem with my GOG Downloader. I was using the stable 3.3.5 release, which updated itself. I recently bought and downloaded Neverwinter Nights DIamond Edition, but while it was downloading the extra content it crashed while trying to download the Kingmaker installer. Now, every time I open Downloader it tries to update itself and re-download the NWN installer and game manuals for a few seconds before crashing. It still tries to do it even if I uninstall Downloader and reinstall it. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Remove the file "settings.js" from Windows 7/Vista - C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com.
Moreover, I would like to see your log file, could you please upload it to any paste-bin like service?
Is there anyway you can remove a game from the downloader? Because of the final chunk problem, I downloaded the Wallace and Gromet patch using my browser. So I have it,but the gog downloaded insists on downloading it. How do I remove it?
I was attempting to revert back to 3.3.5 stable of the downloader, from the beta 3.3.6

Fully uninstalled 3.3.6 and removed the folders in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com
then ran the registry cleaner component of CCleaner

Installing 3.3.5 the new version notifier window launched, which I could not close/exit, so was forced back to beta 3.3.6

I did see 2 folders in the GOG.com_Downloader.exe_Url... folder - one for 3.3.5 and 3.3.6 both folders contained: user XML configuration file

Not sure if - right click remove from list - actually stops the download

Am also having a similar issue with 'downgrading' to the stable version. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to convince the stable downloader to not upgrade to beta as soon as it launches the first time. I wouldn't mind being on the beta, but for some reason the app will randomly die about once every four hours, nothing in the log, just a dialog box from Windows telling me something went wrong.

I actually have three folders in the 'url' folder, 3.3.4.0, 3.3.5.0, and 3.3.6.0. All three have the user XML file with a modified date of the last time I attempted to 'fix' the issue on the 16th.

Having an option to close the version update notifier for beta releases, would be handy (maybe you can just this one has a glitch)
or the option to show beta releases and for users to decide if they wish to try the beta, in an attempt to fix problems they may be having.
Stable release I don't see a problem with auto updating.

I removed the older version folder 3.3.5 in the url folder, just to see if it was in conflict with the newer 3.3.6 folder, but have nothing to download to test as yet. (update edit - downloaded another five games, and the downloader just worked as normal)

Spoke too soon - downloader was minimised in the tray and stopped working (windows error pop up), there was no active download.
Opened the downloader again which started to download - log -> http://paste2.org/p/2775181

I would love to, but I can't seem to post any links.

yeah , that's a problem , for a beta version : it's the first time i see this behaviour the downloader updating itself with a beta version. (i can't recall this in the past).

so since you can't downgrade the downloader , because of this "feature" , you are stuck with. Any attempt to downgrade is pointless.

after said this , maybe the actual beta version IS or WILL BE the stable one ....

i suggest to uninstall all versions you have and install the latest one again (without forgetting to clean all locations where the downloader store data / configuration)
