Connect your Steam account and grow or jumpstart your GOG.com library.

UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
Well, I got my games, but I thought I'd mention that if you get stuck looking at a spinning circle after adding the games to your account, you may want to open another tab/window to check if the games have actually been added.

I was waiting for ages whilst looking at the spinning circle, just waiting for something to happen! :-)
Ok this is just a bug not the case with certain keys because now it even doesn't show me the list.

Breja: I have to say, I was hoping for something a lot less... steamy. Ah well, at least it's harmless.
lol how can there be any possible downside to this?
I can see where GOG will benefit from playing footsie with Steam under the table, but as a non-Steam user, this news is the epitome of MEH to me.
That's actually a nice feature, thanks GOG! After several tries i added 6 games to my GOG library.

HenitoKisou: As far as I know games from bundles or discounted added to Steam account doesn't show as egligible. Why? Because if they were, I should get at least FTL, Two Worlds and Saints Row 2 from GOG Connects but they show as not in Steam account.

Unless this is error GOG side of course.
It's probaly just not working correctly for you yet. I bought all 6 games i added in bundles so you might wanna try again later. ;)
I'm most probably at the end of the queue :)

BTW:
So I have FTL, shadow run returns, trine enhanced and a few others on my steam account but the gog connect says their not their and not adding them to my account.
Yups it's finally work for me. :)
We could make a poll: How often did you refresh your GOG connect coming up with the same error message ;)

maladr0Id: Hey guys!

Good to see such an overwhelming response to GOG Connect :)

Unfortunately, that also means overwhelming traffic, so if you're experiencing issues, please hang tight and keep checking back for the queue to clear up.
Don't want to annoy you in this busy day, but could one of you take a look at this ? :P

I have about 40 games on Steam that I later bought on GOG. This will lose GOG sales, at least in the short term. Why buy a game on GOG when for the same price I can get 2 copies if I buy on Steam? I know it's a limited number, and for a limited time each. I respect GOG for doing this, though it will hurt their bottom line at least a little.
That's a great idea GOG!! Thanks! =)

This may be off-topic, but that picture on your profile is awesome, did you draw that? Either way, that is a very creative use of Steam's profile layout.
This is brilliant stuff!
Shows why GOG.com are the best :)

Only few companies care about customers as deeply, thank you very much!
