It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I'm having installation problems with the Galaxy client, with any game I try. Downloads tend to get stuck (in a loop) at around 98-99% completion and never finish. Anyone know how to fix this?

Install location is located at 'C:\GOG', on a SSD.
Downloads folder is located at 'D:\GOG', on a normal HDD.
I'm using Windows 10.

I also tried using default settings, which didn't help.

I have no clue, but perhaps they can help you in the galaxy beta thread and perhaps you should post the problem in the mantis bug tracker (it is explained in the first post).

If you want to just download your games, you could try the browser download or the gog downloader:

Have you tried browser download, it would be a smaller download unless the fixed that on galaxy already.

Browser download and client import afterwards does work, but kind of defeats the purpose of the client.

Try it without windows 10 :P
Try disabling Anti Virus Software while downloading or add the download path for Galaxy to the exception list ;)
Another member reported a similiar problem so this means that it is likely a Galaxy client issue. U may want to write in to Support & see wat they hv to say regarding this. My guess is it is probably temporary & may be resolved in a few more hrs if everything goes well. In the meantime, u may want to dl games manually thru the browser or GoG Downloader.

I had the same issue a few minutes ago, I finished the setup in the task manager and uninstalled it. Then I tried the installation process again and it worked. I can't tell you exactly what make it work.

I'm using Windows 8.1 Update.

For me this bug occurs from time to time as well. Running Galaxy with admin rights works for me/fixes the problem.
I can't actually install the client galaxy successfully. After I install and try and execute for the first time I get that certain .dll files are missing (the attached images).

Any suggestions as to why this is happening?
