so i get this error, games start downloading but then during download at random point i get :"Installation failed: disk access problem" i have search internet for a fix but nothing has worked.

Does anyone have any info about this error ? or any knowledge how to fix it ?

What virusscanner do you have installed?
Mine quarantined a few files at times, the install gave this exact error.

Make sure you're installing to a directory where you have write permission.

Mine quarantined a few files at times, the install gave this exact error.

Zone Alarm but i have turned it off and tried again and i have given Galaxy and associated services permissions they need. Avast i think has some comparability issues that i know

With all games and i dont know if this is related but Galaxy takes long time to launch (using SSD or HDD) i have tried adding download folder and Galaxy installation folder to exception but it had no effect.

I would advise responding to Thiev as he is a GOG employee.
An alternative would be contacting support.

with all games i have tried installing Witcher 3, Long Live The Queen, S.T.A.LK.E.R games but all give same error

Yeah no problem, asking forums was kind of long shot for me because i did find that few people had have this same issue but nobody was able to give fix. But thanks for responding :)

could you zip all Galaxy Client logs, found here:
c:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs\
create an issue in our Mantis bugtracker (http://mantis.gog.com/) and attach these logs?
That should tell us what's blocking game files from installing

Sorry to ask about the obvious but I learned to do so from working tech support: Do you have enough space on your hard disk?

Yes and i tried installing on SSD which has 90GB freespace and to HDD which has 500GB free space so yeah i have space :D i have worked in tech support too :)



EDIT: wait, could this error be happening because i used Galaxy version: 1.1.5.28b ? noticed in bug report that theres option to report bug with 1.1.6, so i assume thats the newest version ?

It's a beta version that you can enable in the options.

Yeah manual install downloading with browser works fine but when i add game into Galaxy, Galaxy wont let me launch or update or do anything, only allows verify which also gives same error
