TT_TT_TT_TT: really hoping it arrives never ^^ (just my personal opinion ) - i know i can always play the games without using galaxy so i wouldn't have to worry about the overlay but right now i actually like using galaxy bc it's still so lightweight and offers some comfort options but ya want it to stay lightweight and not overloaded - so ya for me galaxy is fine as it is right now (i'm one of the lucky guys who didn't experience a single bug with Galaxy yet) and well if it gets too many features i will stop using it - don't want a second overloaded client like steam on my system
oqWolf: I understand your point completely. Personally I would love to see an overlay and a cool achievement system in-game; like the achievement that pop'd up on witcher 3 in the GOG Home screen where they were advertising. I'd love to see cool purple modern style achievements coming up while im in game. Little things like that make me enjoy the service, steams achievements are bland and boring when they come up and I'd like to see GOG's achievements look cool. I know this doesn't affect game play whatsoever but its just my opinion. I never became "warm" with achievements and stuff like that myself - no idea why , may be just my personal taste general or may be that i started gaming almost 25 years ago and all these new fancy stuff seems like a "foreign particle" but dunno if this really the case as despite i'm sometimes quite nostalgic and enjoy playing the old games all over again (and say "new games are shit old times were better ^^ ") i still also enjoy plenty of new games as well. But ya different people different tastes :).

cogadh: You can just turn the overlay off if you don't like it. That's one of the good parts of Galaxy, if you don't like any of the features it offers, you can simply disable them, keeping it lightweight.
