All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 Redux edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

apehater: way better then door knockers!

IAmSinistar: I have to disagree.
this scene makes a very promising appearence, will watch this film during the week.
avatar
deonast: Now I just have to get a refund for "Sword of the Stars: The Pit Gold Edition" that was added to my account as a non gift even though I essentially owned it all here as base game plus dlc in separate purchases.
avatar
yyahoo: Edit: Come to find out, GOG thought I didn't own SOTS Gold Edition, because I had the original game and the Gold upgrade. My next pinata netted me Hot Tin Roof. Now for that refund...
Support has been very helpful to me. I asked them for a refund in store credit or to convert the game into a gift code and I already have the store credit in my account.

Well, I received a "gift" pinata on Friday and sent a support request for a refund, but the system must have eaten it because I didn't even get an email confirmation for my request. I mentioned both orders in my new support request (and got an email confirmation), so hopefully this one goes a little more smoothly...

mattymuc: I really don't like this promo... Now I have 4games I already had in my library. :-(
avatar
stg83: You can request a refund by contacting support for the games you already own.

Thanks, I will try that :)
Can anyone say firsthand how well This War of Mine (EDIT: the Windows version) runs on an "average" laptop? I've wanted to play it since it came out, but, considering the discount is "only" 50%, I don't want to get stuck with it if it's gonna chug.

Uhh, that is the exact same pinata. If you change pinatas, you should change pinatas. This makes absolutely no sense to me that it is the same pinata.

Marioface5: I don't think so. On the front page it now says "Indie Pinata Ends In:" with a countdown timer.
avatar
Grargar: It's strange, though. The front page says that the Pinata will be ending in approximately 3 days. But if it ends in 3 days, then it will end on 17 September, which is in contrast to the promo's description:

The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT.
I just did some calculations using WolframAlpha, and it looks like the timer on the pinata should end 24 hours before the promo is scheduled to end. If that's correct, then we'll probably see 24 hours where everything is back on sale again.

fronzelneekburm: [...]

Funny how back when we had the Irish promo, the system would notice and warn you if your order contained something you already own.

NO! It will not! Consider yourselves warned!
avatar
HypersomniacLive: That sucks, and is definitely misleading. Not cool, GOG, not cool at all.
One small update: I did get a refund on all the keys I didn't have any use for, so ultimately all is fine on my part.

What I would really like...

is seeing an animation representing me hitting a Piñata, each time I buy one.

Great. I have a MacBook Pro from like 3 or 4 years ago with Intel HD3000 and I haven't had any issues. A few crashes, unknown if related to hardware - probably not, but that's over scores and scores of hours of play. I recommend the game, though I'm a slavophile who was in FYR not long after war's end so there's a touch of personal attachment to the subject matter.

Thanks for the info. :)

Anyone else? Especially those who've played it on a Windows laptop?

chezybezy: Use the gift option for peats sake.
That's a bad idea as it apparently reduces the chance to get a game which you not already own even more.
avatar
Dreadjaws: Tried twice. Got two games I already own. Only not the GOG versions, so I can't gift them. That'll teach me to gamble.
avatar
stg83: If you haven't downloaded the games yet then you can contact support to turn them into gift codes.
Really? Hmmm, I'll try that.
Hey guys!
Really happy with this promo.
Got the following games yesterday:
Consortium
Banished
Unrest

2 days ago i got Dust an Elysium Tale :D
hah,hah,hah, hah, haaaa!
Pinata gave me:

Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore A Fedora
1954 alcatraz

Never heard of those games. So funny!
