All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 <span class="bold">Redux</span> edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

It's the Indie Piñata at , as well! We&rsquo;re celebrating with tons of special promo streams. [url=https://www.gog.com/news/coming_up_on_twitchtvgogcom]Check out the schedule to know what’s going on over the weekend, and follow our channel for 4-6 hours of awesome, daily gaming content!

HereForTheBeer: As someone married to a great and lovely woman from Mexico, I find the use of this beloved icon for mere marketing and promotional purposes to be highly offen...

Oh, sweet! Cheap games!!! <checks Paypal balance>
Plunging your stick into Mexican things filled with candy should be old hat then. XD

Is it only me or is the GOG front page totally broken? No game pictures, no news messages, no game lists, no language and currency switch buttons, ...

Hard to see what's going on.

Edit: Game pictures and news messages are back now, but the page is incredibly slow.

jamotide: They are regionally priced and you bought them haha

Zoidberg: No, they weren't. You idiot.
Harsh tone, dude. Anyway, one ukranian on page 2 said something about 1.36$ per pinata pop, so I guess you are it.

Edit: Just verified it with a proxy, so haha you bought regionally priced stuff and owned yourself on top of it, no wonder a midly complex game like FTL seemed to be all luck to you! haha

So you blindly buy a game for $3 (which is even regionally priced)?

Is there a list available which games are in that pot?

Edit: As the front page still isn't working properly for me, is there a "normal" promo page for the games on sale, where I can see which games I own and which not?

I was gonna go with "beating some Mexican ass", but yours works, too.

Yes, but the more important question is did yours cost you more than $3.00 a swing?
There are some details I probably misunderstood... let's say you already have some games on another client (yes, Steam) or maybe you're not much happy of them, is there any way to trade them with other people on GOG?

fronzelneekburm: Well, shit...

Since I'm a moron who thought it was a good idea to buy those fucking pinatas in bulks, I'm now stuck with a bundle of five games I already own. If anyone's interested in (or better yet: would like to trade for) Legend Of Grimrock, Blackwell Bundle or Last Federation, please get in touch!

Funny how back when we had the Irish promo, the system would notice and warn you if your order contained something you already own.

avatar
asb: But when I get to checkout, will it say "this order contains some items you already own", as it has in some previous similar promos?
avatar
fronzelneekburm: NO! It will not! Consider yourselves warned!
im interested in blackwell bundle if you still have it :D

Konrad: It won't - the games inside your Piñata are only generated once you go through checkout. Even we don't know what you'll get until the very end.

That said, if you end up getting stuck with a bunch of spare gifts (or a Base/Deluxe edition of a game you own already), you can always contact support to use the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee - or simply convert them to store credit. Just keep in mind this applies to the Piñata's price, not the game's full value. ;)
Awesome Thanks for that info :-)
Well, I'm off for the weekend. Have a good one folks, and I'll be back for the next round. Hopefully they'll haul GOGbear up there and let us take a bash at him. ;)

aluinie: Who thinks the Piñata is too cute to hit.

I feel quilty hitting it.
Don't worry, this is a late horse! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in papier mâché! If GOG hadn't nailed a rope to its back it would be pushing up the daisies! It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible! This is an ex-horse!

(Don't be fooled by the rigor mortis muscle twitch.)

If he is hung like a horse I'm guessing it's free. Only a fool would charge for self-flagellation.

I got terraria. A game, I have on steam (through a humble bundle) and absolutely detest. Still, maybe next time eh?
This is awesome. Shadow Warrior and Lumino City for six bucks?! Amazing! Thanks, GOG!

We're married, so I've been paying for 24+ years and will continue to pay until one night she kills me in my sleep.

And I was going to look for a baseball bat to join you :-( . Note: as you can't tell tone in post I will say I am joking.

On a side note I did like that for $4.29 (Aus price) I picked up a $28.69 (once more Aus price) game LUMINO CITY. Don't think I'll play it but but I still liked the saving
