Now it's time to leave the capsule, if you dare.

The Solus Project, a captivating experience of solitary exploration and survival upon a deserted alien planet, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount.

It's 2183 and humanity is looking for a planet to colonize. Your mission goes awry and you soon find yourself alone, stranded on a mysterious planet with no signs of life. But then, who put up those grandiose structures and why do the alien remains look so awfully humanoid? You need to shelter yourself from the temperamental, constantly shifting weather, collect items, and figure out what happened to the inhabitants of this desolate planet, while looking for a way to rescue yourself and contact your people.

The Solus Project focuses on the solitary aspect of the journey but developers Teotl Studios feel like it's finally time to share the almost-finished game with their fans and get some useful feedback on the features and the overall impact of the experience. They expect to release the final build within three months, but during that time they will keep polishing and unlocking content in an episodic manner until the whole game up to the final chapter is fully playable. Unless that menacing space tornado reaches their offices earlier than expected.

If you want to save Earth, surviving and deciphering the secrets of a mysterious alien planet will become your own Solus Project, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% discount will last until February 25, 5:59 PM GMT.

Note: This game is currently in development. See the FAQ to learn more about games in development, and check out the forums to find more information and to stay in touch with the community.
This sounds and looks really interesting - thanks for coming to GOG! I look forward to checking it out more in-depth soon as we approach the release. :)
A new Teotl studios game?

Will definitely look into this once it's a finished product.
This looks very compelling/interesting!!! Definitely added to WL!! Thanks for bringing it here in-development before the release. Very cool!

WOW. 3 in development games that highly interest me now. This is proving a good move for GOG. I never pay attention to what games are coming out and don't follow the industry at all. GOG is my window to the gaming world (where I usually only become aware of a game when it is released here, or at least talked about here on the forums), and the window just got bigger!!!

The FAQ says a 25% discount for the duration of Early Access. These guys didn't even bother adapting the FAQ.
It doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
Looks great, wish-listed and keeping my eye on it. Looking forward to it's release.
Looks very interesting, I'll wait for the actual release too! And a quick question to the dev, should they reading: How long can we expect it to be?
Nice, similar vibes to Lifeless Planet.

drealmer7: how long the game is, I think is what they mean
oops. :)
This is from a developer's comment on steam:

"The full game typically takes people 7-9 hours without looking for the secrets and special things, however some spend way longer in the game than that. Not many do it in less. I can do it in 5 hours knowing exactly what to do and cheating parts.

The first early acces release is around 2 hours, and by early March that will be extended to 4 hours about."

One of the few interesting InDev games ill keep my eye on.

I like the premise. Exploration. Finding secrets. Is this meant to be an open world game? or has a strong narrative/main quest?
low rated
yet another paid beta/early access piece of crap.
shame on you gog
Nice! I be want me a slice of that when it's finished.
