trusteft: Whenever one uses the word potato to talk about a computer system, I just find it hilarious. Thank you for the laugh.

I wanted it the first time I saw a video of it from Dodger (youtuber).
I was waiting for a GOG version as I try to avoid DRMed versions.

Having said that, any idea how close to completion it is? I don't want to buy a game unless it is complete.

gmx: Well, game is very far from completion, steam reviews complain about lack of content and roadmap as far as I remember reach more than year in future.

When I see promissing project, usually buy it early, try it and leave on shelf untill release date. I know I would buy it eventually so why not for lower price supporting devs early. I bought subnautica and kerball that way. It is risky tactic but didynt regret it - yet ;]

As for patato - I work on it every day - it's name of profile im my tools - low resolution computer throttled in every way. Company policy, if it works on patato it works on everything ;]
Thank you. :)

If things were normal I would buy it too because of how charming it is, I did it last time with Starpoint Gemini 3, which is rare for me, but things are not normal now so I have to be very careful what I spend my money on.
On wishlist and I will buy it when the game is ready.
Well, for the question how far from completion it is:
On Steam it was released in early access on February 6th 2020.
In the EA Description it says:
"Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We expect the Early Access to last for 1.5-2 years.”"

So it will be a while until it is completed.
But still, if you want to support an indie dev (and perhaps see what you get into as soon
as its get released) you could still buy it and leave it in the shelve for a time. :)
The in-game art style is not what I expected from the "cover" art and the title. If the game is supposed to be all "grim 'n' gritty", I'd even go so far as to say that cutesy JRPG-style graphics (well-executed though they may be) were a poor choice.
Another "wish-listed insta-buy-once-it-gets-out-of-InDev" game...

fortune_p_dawg: damn that is one gorgeous rpg.
I agree.

Linko64: ...bit harsh on RNG...
I put it on my wishlist, but if this is true (can anyone confirm?), I'll delete it again.
Nothing against RNGs, but they need to be "balanced".
I had my fair share of "harsh" and "unbalanced" RNGs in games...and all I can say, is: it's nothing that I enjoy.
How many nice addictions to the catalog today! Please add more uninteresting games, I can't play all these things!

Would backers be able to replace Steam key with GoG's?
Beautiful game, seemingly OK to fun gameplay. But took a hard turn at the random world/rogue-like/rogue-lite bits. Enough of that, please. Now a turn-based "open world" could be a great thing if it were a nice, crafted world with well-placed content and story.

Wow, GOG is getting all the good games lately, now I just need the Ultimate Admiral games.
Looks interesting challenge RPG addictive gameplay because i'm gameplay driven guy but sadly thought it's still early access, I'll wait until is completed (fully release)

If you took advantage of the newsletter discount for Darkest Dungeon a few weeks ago (or presumably just owning the game prior), you apparently are able to get this game at a 25% discount.
So how much is there in the game already? Not that I could buy it now anyway. Need to get a new CC.

Is this cutesy? It might be vaguely chibi-style in that the people have large heads but it reminds me of Battle Brothers except more pixelated.

Silverhawk170485: Please give us also the supporter pack GOG!
Yes! I will absolutely buy the supporter pack too if they release it here.
