Secret Government is now available as the DRM-free game in development on GOG.COM with a 10% discount until the 23rd of July, 3 PM UTC. Rewrite history as you pull the strings of fate and spread your influence across the globe, shaping the world's nations and future to your will from the 18th century to the present day.

You're not wrong but imagine what a problem it would be whenever anyone not familiarized with Spain's old flag wanted to identify "where the heck is this country with a flag I never saw"?

Oh, come on, it's like seeing a game about Roman Empire with the Italian flag. Imagine Europa Universalis with all the actual flags. Imagine a vikings game with the actual Norway flag.

If you play a game with a flag you don't know attached to a window that says "spain", or whatever any other country, you will know what it is and you will learn something new. That's it, unless you are making a game for children and prioritize understanding over education, for example.
