Perfect opportunity to re-list the demo that was only available for a short time last year, no?

It's honestly quite pathetic how hard these indie devs try to pander to the Dark Souls community. That "You died" part is basically them screaming "ARE WE COOL YET?"

I think in this one it was more intentional. I mean look at the NPC design and how they act and the magic. It seems that rather than pandering to the Souls community by being subtle like "Lords of the Fallen" or "Nioh" they pretty much blatantly said "This is Budget Dark Souls with permadeath, go get it" kind of game (and marketing).
