That "Agenamon" in the screenshots is irritating AF.

I always read it as "Agamemnon" (ruler of Mycenae and the leader of the Greeks in the Trojan War).
Renowned Explorer's didn't turn out to be my cup of tea but I have a lot of good will for Abbey Games for very pleasantly surprising me with Reus. I'm very seriously considering giving this a shot, even as an in development game...
Even though this game doesn't interest me (yet), I wish Abbey Games good luck with their work and sale numbers as they are truly awesome little game studio!
Awww heckin yeah. Been following this for a while and hoping it makes it way here. Good show.
Very nice! Although I will wait for a full release, then I will gladly buy it :)
Pledged on Kickstarter and I regret nothing!
Received my Key today...DRM free and Linux...Thanks Abbey Games ^^
I loved their old games and this one is a (rough) little gem.
Cannot wait to see the future improvements.

Everytime I hear Agamemnon I hear this.

EDIT: I feel bad for not saying anything about the game since the thread is about it. First I thought that this game is kinda bad simply because of the flash-game esthetics. However this game definatly seems like its more than it meets the eye. Looks pretty awesome actually. We need more propper God-Games, Godus (I think it was called) was pretty lacking and doesn't help in the slightest that it was abandoned. If this game succseeds it can only mean that the game evolves into something truely awesome and memoriable that the people always wanted.

Interesting. I can't play more than one game of Reus every few years because the time limit and the layer of indirection annoy me, but I like Renowned Explorers. I've watched several of the Godhood streams and it looks more interesting with the suggestion/inspiration mechanism and the turn-based gameplay and fights.
I'll make sure to check the FAQ to learn more about games in development.

looks great! :D
I wonder why the base game supports Linux, but the DLC "doesn't". Is it not possible to provide a Linux version of the statue?

Kind of reminds me of Pathfinder: Kingmaker where one of the extras is still not available as a Linux installer to this day. Even though the installer just contains two architecture/OS-indepenedent files that if I place them in my Linux install, they work as intended. Is it the same with this? Who knows.

$25 is too much for a game that I don't have time to play right now, so I guess it doesn't really matter, anyway.
