It was three years ago, but the game only got 4 votes. So this is my call to vote for the game Shine.

Let´s "flash mob" that thing. A thousand votes should be sufficient for the beginning. :)
Do you have more data on this? Like a mobygames page, Wikipedia entry, website?

Unfortunately I couldn´t find any more infos about it except this one video on youtube. It´s a rather unknown game. I played it once many years ago, but it was a pain to get it working on Win XP. It needs Quicktime Player for playing the ingame videos, but I didn´t get it to work.
All I can say is that it is a really crazy and surreal game - and it´s almost impossible to find out what to do, if you are not crazy yourself or have a good walkthrough.
I can´t compare it to any other game. It would fit perfectly in Gog´s catalogue.

EDIT: Ah, I see, they compare it to Shivers, 7th Guest and 11th Hour.

Those review ratings don't do it a lot of favors...

Yes, but a lot of old games got bad reviews in their time. Still I think that they are worth to be preserved and played again. Some play really well when you know what you can expect. As a person who loves games I have great tolerance regarding old games. Isn´t this the reason we are all here at Gog? :)
