Darvond: Most of them. The trading aspect, the card aspect, the collecting aspect. The entire idea is a farce.
I am sure it brings satisfaction to some, and I see no ill with it. Be generous, pray! I myself do not have a pokemon thing, as such. And for pinups, as BioWare fan I am never in short supply - I only have to take a look at, say, pretty awesome Cullenite fan-art out there for that... :-)
I think it's actually similar underlying satisfaction that caused "achievements" to be introduced, which even have seeped into RPGs.
I perso only gave a toss when I could actually get some concretely usable in return. Got Exiled Prince expansion with DA2 against achievements' points accumulated since DA:O, which I thought was very nice fan-service indeed from BW. Now that's changed as they want to monetize Inquisition to the max...
I could meanwhile see something similar to that in-game card thing of TW3 - which reportedly is very good - being invented out of these. A friend of mine showed me a similar 3rd party commercial game he is pretty enthused about, where one could be paired up online, or play against AI - at least when I had his help, it seemed a lot of fun. You needed draw elemental cards, and then you had offensive and defensive and booster cards.
Um... am I making any sense?
Sorry, cannot remember name of that game for now - will see him soon actually in likely futile attempt to evangelize ice hockey, so need to ask...

Can these be something like "Women and Men of Poland" and maybe focused cards like "gamers of the world" that feature other GOG'ers. Again women and men because we are all races and creeds here...
Make a preference slider on the profile page for types of cards you like, and yes one for both because GOG is <3

So you're wanting the cards to actually...do something?

Yes, I think so.
My pal told me the game we played on iPad was "Magic" - it was the first of its kind, hence the über-generic name that floated, we thought.
And then he told me he hated that I asked because he had just recently allowed his friend to sell those original physical cards for 100 Euros each - but he had sentimental sellers' remorse.
So yes, such things can do something.

Oh, right. Magic the Nerdining! But how would naked cards have elements and such? My pal told me the game we played on iPad was "Magic" - it was the first of its kind, hence the über-generic name that floated, we thought.

Too nude.
