Hey,
I am looking for a game from my childhood (I played it in the area around 2001/2002).
It was a real-time strategy in 2d. I remember very few details but maybe someone will associate.
The action took place through various ages. I remember that after firing the game I controlled a group of warriors and a bear appeared there. Units entering the bush were visible as player-colored contours.
Another thing is the installation screen. I remember various pictures during the installation (which then took a really long time) such as a caveman sitting by the fire during a storm. There also appeared a soldier and probably a tank.
This installation screen especially got stuck in my memory.
I know it's not much, but maybe someone associates, especially after this installation screen.
I will be very grateful for any tips.

Were it cavepeople? It sounds familiar. That popular game I tried back in the day, I thought it was one of those "Age of ..." things (Empires?). Or it might have been Civilisation (III?).
I could be totally wrong though.

Someone with a better memory will probably show up and help. :-)
Rise of Nations ?
Empire earth?
