I do not want to forbid anyone to play it, i simply answered the question i got and the answer is that i usually stay away from religious content in my games especially real world based. I really, really dislike religion so i would not play such demo.

I didn't take it as you wanting to censor or forbid anything. But it wasn't simply answering a question either. It was more raining on their parade. Atheists already have a reputation of being angry and smug, and I would prefer if we didn't perpetuate such stereotypes.

I'm an atheist, I greatly dislike religion, but I can still enjoy some religion-related media. For example Pince of Egypt is an absolutely fantastic movie, and one of the few animated musicals I genuinely enjoy. It's important to keep an open mind.

That's great that you can separate the two things unfortunately i have never been able to for some reason, i have never called myself an atheist it just sounds dumb but i guess that's a package deal if you don't like religions in general.

Looks like another over-ambitious artistic vision on the level-making front, I saw a preview clip and it ran like ass; yet another dev that won't take the unity engines limitations into consideration... again!

They will never get that unless you break up the large world space into smaller chunks and stitch them together to dynamically un/load the world spaces/assets in, then performance will definitely tank, don't believe me, search performance on the steam forums once the demo releases...

There are instances where open-world games are passible using unity due to developers knowing what the fuck they're doing, (From what I've read Genshin Impact is a shining example!) although this game would be better developed on an engine custom-made for large open worlds; Unreal!

EDIT: Seeing as I'm pretty much an atheist, particularly against the Judeo religions, I don't see myself buying this game, but I may try out the demo...

I've never seen a game like this before. And I would be interested to play it. Yes, this is a sensitive topic that can offend many, but why are there icons and frescoes, but there are no games about Jesus? Its cool! This way it is much easier to convey to children who Jesus is and what he did.

And I'm interested when the sequel will come out:)
