Not in previous Weekly, Eye Candy 4, for example. BTA was featuring 3 decent games, while 1$ tier was featuring 1 Steam only, and 2 "short, experimental games".

I'm confused, there was 3 Steam games on the $1 tier and even if the steam reviews isn't the best place to check reviews: Dyscourse - 80% positive (212 reviews)
Lumino City - 93% positive (318 reviews)
Plug & Play - 85% positive (2072 reviews)
I mean, different tastes and all but this isn't crap and it's only $1.

Wait, what? Star Trek has never been "fucking huge" in the U.S. It does okay (which is why it's still around) but it only dreams of having numbers like Star Wars or the recent Marvel movies. Hell, I see a lot more Dr. Who fans out and about than Trekkies these days :)

And, ofc, thats matter of taste too. I'm not against creative "art" or experimental games once a while, but both Dyscourse and Plug & Play looked kinda weak to me. Lumino City was too much Steam-only for goggish me.
Oh, i wish they had switched BTA and 1$ - that would be instant big hit

ET3D: I'm not sure about that. There's often decent stuff at $1. I tend to think that the entry level tier does reflect on the rest, and that, in these case, the riffs at higher tiers won't be that enjoyable that they'd be worth the money.

catpower1980: It's like Star Trek: fucking huge in USA but here in Europe it's like the cheesiest sci-fi that nobody cares about (even in geek circles). Don't take your US culture as an universal truth (I sound a bit harsh but that's not my intent)

If anyone picked up the Square Enix humble bundle $6+ and isn't going to use the FF14:ARR code, i'd love it if able.
(i hope its not frowned upon to ask like this, i'm just so broke after the holidays!)

zeogold: People were freaking out when it was announced they were having a TV special for April Fool's Day, the National Geographic one in the bottom tier (no, it wasn't a joke). Trust me, they're seriously well-loved, even though you seem to hate them.
Weird, considering how many MST3K fans are on here, you'd think more people would have been more interested in a RiffTrax bundle. Arguably this is actually a good starting point for people interested in MST3K as the RT references and jokes are a little less oblique. Me, I'm really happy to see RiffTrax featured in an HB. I'm just a little disappointed to not see any of their MST3K stuff featured there.

The RiifTrax bundle is probably to promote the MST3K Kickstarter.

zeogold: I second everything you just said. I think the reason that the MST3K stuff won't get its own bundle is because the team is already offering a good deal of the episodes free on YouTube.

Ah, I didn't know that. I did buy some classics like The Final Sacrifice from the RT website, especially since I found out that SHOUT! Factory was playing dirty with royalty payments on their MST3K DVDs. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFzph9x-n9FR52BI94Zfgww
From what I understand, RiffTrax has nothing to do with the MST3K Kickstarter (relations between the two have been amicable however, from what I've gather).
