sunshinecorp: Are you certain of that? The monthly bundles I got in the past gave me DRM-free builds (for the games that have them) as well as Steam keys.

synfresh: I don't see them on my key page. There is only one seperate download other than steam keys and it looks like a soundtrack.

ETA: Its not a soundtrack, it's battlesloths (the 'exclusive' to the monthly bundles)
Well, that sucks then. I thought Wasteland 2 had a DRM-free build on Humble.
Well since I got a 10% off voucher with the indie bundle 16 and the two games looked interesting enough to buy I bought this monthly bundle.
I can confirm there are no drm free downloads at this point, which is pretty shady since the line

See system requirements here: South Park: The Stick of Truth This War of Mine

on the page links to https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/thiswarofmine_storefront for This Was of Mine and this page which mentions DRM Free.

Not Impressed.

It's actually another reason not to re-subscribe. Can more people confirm the lack of DRM-free builds?

As far as I know most of the time you get only Steam keys. Like they said on the humble monthly website:

What are the games playable on?
Steam for Windows. Sometimes more!

The reason for me no to buy the bundles is the random games you will get. I don`t like the idea of random games. I like to know before what i pay for.

I took this to mean that most of the games don't have DRM-free releases, especially since the ones that did in the first and second bundle did actually give me the DRM-free builds. But seeing as WL2 does have a DRM-free build which was not given to current bundle purchasers, that can mean one of two things: either the whole bundle policy has changed and now only gives Steam keys, or that it was always in the discretion of the game's publisher to give out just a Steam key or couple it with the DRM-free build. I wonder which one it is. Anyway, I love Humble in general, but it has been doing some shady things. I've cut down on my purchases there by a lot. Won't be getting any more monthlies either. And the quality of bundles in general has dropped dramatically.

WL2 has a DRM-free build on GOG but not on Humble, and I suspect that is the reason. It seems that contrary to Humble Indie Bundle, Humble Monthly doesn't go out of its way to offer anything else than what you'd also get in the Humble Store. And while some devs offer both DRM-free version and Steam key in the Humble Store (e.g. for Hands of Fate), others only offer Steam keys even though there are DRM-free versions on GOG (WL2, Divinity: Original Sin etc.). I assume these devs or publishers don't trust Humble customers to treat the purchase as one license and don't want fans of DRM-free games to give their Steam keys away for free.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know WL2 didn't offer a DRM-free build on Humble at all.
