Yea, it's kind of weird they put that one instead of the 1st one. :/

It`s because Atom RPG is game from 2018 so it`s 4 year old and Humble hss a rule about games that comes in choice, they never give game more then 2 year old, mostly they are one year old. That is why choice is so popular among players, we always get new games.

heh? that rule is so stupid
i bet more people would like to get older but better games

i usually just get a key for 1-2 euros from the bundles , half of the games are not interesting to me anyway

I understand you, but I strongly disagree and here is why:
majority of subscribers are young people who wants new game and good value games for money they are spending
old games are great, I like them too, but they are not for everyone and they are easy to buy them they almost never cost that much as new games.
Another thing is that Humble is aware of that so every month they are giving new and expensive games, making sure lot of people will subscribe.
I can tell you what I think since I am active subscriber since 2015. I get new games for $10 a month that often cost from $15-$30 each, so reason why I am buying choice is because of its value..
You get my point value of games sales the bundle, we might like those games or not, but that`s how things work....

I used to buy keys long ago, but first time I lost few games because I bought stolen keys I usually use official stores only totally avoiding black market sites G2A, KInguin and others..
I think if I remember correctly 2 years ago i bought Mortal Kombat X on Kinguin paid $11 for it, next month steam revoked that game from my library because seller was selling stolen keys. I was lucky seller did refund me the money but I never bought anything again on any sites like Kinguin. Perhaps you had better experience or you were lucky...
Of course not all sites are black market, there are valid vendors who are selling valid keys like Green Man Gaming, Instant Gaming, Fanatical or Hmble...

ive bought plenty and no games were removed so far from steam
and as for older games i didnt mean much older but a 4-5 year old game should still be fine and they still could cost 20+ euros on steam
I`m not saying all keys are bad, I also bought lot of keys, but then some of my games were revoked. It happens, it`d s matter of luck I think nothing else.
That`s true there are really good older games that still cost lot, but humble has his own rules regarding their bundle, I think it says on their website, mostly newer games and only games with positive reviews on steam page and games that never been on any bundle before.
I don`t argue with others about that, it`s matter of personal opinion, some might like it, some don`t, I like their bundles a lot, in most cases I know I will eventually get new game that cost lot, so when sale comes I wouldn`t have to buy lot of new games, mostly games I`m missing from bundle. Just a matter of perspective nothing else.
From what I understand now after all these years is that choice is great for people who buy games very often and have bunch of them, for people who buy game to play from time to time, just not worth it.
Also they are great for gifting them, I like to do that when I get games I already have. It`s nice to make others happy if you can..
But i am bias, I like Humble mainly because I`ve been buying from them since 2013 and kinda like them, and second and most important to me is their humanity work. All our money goes somewhere for people in need.
Last year i watched when CEO of Humble went to children hospital and bought them new equipment all from people like me, who would rather give my money them and not to some shady sites who sells cheaper games... I almost cried that day when I saw that sick kids and what we did for them...
I am sure you are all aware of whenever you buy something from Humble during checkout there are few sliders, so you can choose where you money goes, how much goes in charity, how much money goes to developer, and how much money goes to Humble. I like to think of myself as someone who gave lot of money in charity, makes me feel better.
those first two picks were on my wishlist the whole time so i consider it a good month.
I'm with HIB since early 2013, but either they got IGN'd for good and the quality of Choice dropped significantly this year, or it's just me not being much into the games offered so far. That and often having just the base versions + keys for weird platforms creep in consistently now. Usually it's just 1 game max I would play nowadays from the whole selection, which I might rather get from the store directly. Paused every single month except for february, because my buddy wanted Borderlands3. I'm slowly reaching the point where I might cancel the sub. Btw if we ever got back to the old format of cat in the bag, blind date, the grand mystery, gambling style - that would definitely help me to cancel.

agree, this month is actually good i had 3 games in my wishlist so I am very happy with this month pick.
Atom RPG Trudograd is in this month, but not the base game but stand alone DlC, slimy move from developers, they think people will now buy base game because of DLC. But besides that i think this month is great.

Yeah, I would've probably gotten this one if Epic hadn't given Plague Tale away some time back. A few others look interesting, but not enough.
