Hello. I've received a humble bundle gift from someone that I don't know. At first I thought it was a mistake, so I replied on his mail and told him that he sent the gift to a wrong person, but then he said that he did in fact sent it to the right person. He didn't want to tell me who is he, he just said that he's like a secret santa.

My actually questions are:
1: How did he got my e-mail?
2: I don't have an Humble Bundle account, so if I redeem the games( I'm guessing that only on Steam works) will he be able to see that I redeem it?
3: If question 2 is yes, will he also be able to see my Steam ID if I redeem it?

Thanks to everyone who will join, even if they don't have the answers.

1 : probably somebody you know and wants to mess with your head for a joke

2 : no

3 : no
i need to be told by people that they redeemed my gift codes from humble
If they have your email then it's someone you gave it to. And you don't have to worry about humble bundle links or cd-keys being traced back to you. Of course never take em from randoms that are doing credit card fraud and other stuff (like steam accounts with 1 game selling away $60 games for cheaper than cost). But in general they're fine, especially bundle keys.
check the link to the humble gift key

it should be like this

https://www.humblebundle.com/gift?key=[random letters and numbers]

So I guess it's ok to redeem the gift then.
Thank you very much for all of your answers.
I've given steam keys away in the past via humble, I can see the key has been claimed, but who knows maybe they sell it or use it, only way to tell if a steam key has been used by the person you gave it to, is by having that person on your friends list on steam.

all the best
