Passwords used to be fun before all this 'special character and at least 8 digits long' stuff was enforced. In my student days we (my student union) had a little hacking competition with the student union of another university and we got root access to their computer-pool. ALL student passwords were stored in an un-encrypted file in their root folder and the passwords were partially funny.

We found:
17 times fuck
14 times fick (same word in German)
8 times password
7 times Marburg
3 times Passw0rd
1 time Marburg1
1 time Marburg3
(but no Marburg2)

... and yes, one time 12345678
