I accidentally deleted important files from my Iphone. Is there a way to restore them without using itunes? What is the easiest way?

I checked the first one, it suggests using certain iPhone app for the task, apparently you need to connect the iPhone to a PC (or Mac?) as well.

The first important rule whenever you are thinking of trying to recoved deleted or lost data, is stop using the device so that you don't rewrite over the deleted data sections in the filesystem. I presume this applies also to iOS.

i guess it also depends how exactly did you lose the data. Did you delete some files with some kind of file manager, or did you reset the whole phone to factory defaults (and lose all your data in the process) etc.? A bit like I presume it matters a lot on PC whether you simply deleted some files, or if you e.g. deleted the whole partition where the files were.

I was going to suggest downloading Linux Mint and using that utility - it worked AMAZING when I accidently started a partial format of my PC, then stopped said format by pulling the plug LOL. But then I saw you're asking about a phone.

And just admit it - Ex deleted all those nekkid pics when she broke up with you. We won't judge...

If you haven't synched your phone with either a PC, through icloud, or in iTunes, then you're pretty much hosed.

Nicely ask Apple if you can have a copy. They have all your stuff anyway. And will never delete any.

You can use disk drill app. It's a data recovery tool, free by the way and easy in use. You can also read this guide https://www.cleverfiles.com/iphone-data-recovery.html there are detailed steps on lost files recovery. It must work for you.

Does Recuva work on iphone? Probably not.

The only two possible ways to restore lost iphone files is ether through backups on your itunes or icloud recovery that I'm aware of.

...don't waste money on iPhone. :P
