One point I would add to that is some games have multiple files to install that start with "your game. exe" then will have extra files like "yourgame.bin" that you need to click save as and have them all in the same place to install your game.

melichor: I bought a lot of games on GOG in hopes of getting their DRM free version and have it available. I didn't save them, now I really have no idea how to download a DRM free version of games, that previously had DRM free version but no longer seem to have it.

karnak1: All of GOG's games are DRM-free.
If you're talking about the DRM-free installers, you have to go to your games library (using the browser - not Galaxy) and download the games installers.
