Hi, I wanted to create a new topic in the "Dungeon Keeper" series, but for some reason clicking the "Post my massage" button does not bring any efect. What do I have to do or what requirements do I need to meet to be able to create a new topic?
This question / problem has been solved by JMichimage
Well you seem to have figured it out...
How do I make a post?

Two most likely issues are either post length or trying to post links with insufficient reputation. Third most likely (but less likely for a new thread) is incorrect tags, usually quote ones. Check your post's length, remove the http:// part of any links and try posting again.

Thank you very much for your answer.

For the first time I tried to post a topic on this forum, so I did not know there could be a problem posting links in posts, but I removed the "html://" part from the link and immediately the topic was successfully created. Your answer was very helpful and you deserved a positive rating.

I have an additional question.

How to add a link so that you can click on this link?

Either be a bit more active on the forum so you get the needed rep (7 or 10 from what I recall) to post links or use quote tags in a post you want to have links in. But it's not that bad if one can copy paste the text, or select it and choose "go to page" (or browser equivalent).

There are two ways:
The official one is to get your rep to at least 7. Every day you make at least one post, you get 1 rep, when you answer a question and is selected as the answer (like you selected JMich earlier), you gain 5 rep. If people rate your post negatively, you lose rep, and if they rate them positively, you gain rep.

The unofficial one is to make a quote, anywhere in your post. if your post contains a section starting with (quote) and ending with (/quote) (replace those parentheses with [ and ], respectively), with or without something in between them, rep requirements seem to be ignored.

Thank you again for your reply.

Now I know everything I wanted to know.
