darthspudius: So doesn't that make you a GOG fan boy? Which is just as bad.

On topic: What is this avatar thing? Im on Steam every day and I have no idea what it is.
avatar
Roxolani: When you edit your profile, you can use avatars from Steam library games. For example, Serious Sam avatars. It's not limited to your installed games and you can pick any avatars fro a specific game even if you don't have that game.

The problems is that page is not a "full list" anymore (I guess). I can't see all available avatars. It's a list of avatars of installed games + some random games when I sign into my account. And it's a list of random games when I access it without my account.
avatar
Breja: Being on Steam rather than here might be a good start.
avatar
Roxolani: I can't survive there. :P
Oh, I didn't even know you could do that lol. I just imported my own.

Good, then please see if you can access all avatars or not.

I can access them just fine, sorry.

Keep refreshing the page, and in each time, do note which random games appear.

Why?

darthspudius: Why?
The original point I missed (and so did you) was that the avatars shown on that page are not the same. I had the last entry in the avatars list be from a game called Zelt. The next time I refreshed, it became "Where is my Heart?" or something like that.

oh ok, let me check.
They do appear to be changing with a refresh.

tinyE: I may be way out of line here, but wouldn't the Steam forum be a better place to ask this? :P
avatar
Roxolani: You're right, that's better to ask such questions on there but I don't like Steam community very much due to various reasons. I prefer to ask my gaming questions on GOG community. Steam forum is secondary option. :D
Stay here long enough and Steam community might not seem so bad after all.

And that's the main problem. It should show all games and their avatars. It seems that Steam changed it and turned it into a list of random games. So that's the reason I asked this question.
Seems to be working fine for me.
That doesn't help you any, but I've now got a ton of avatars I'll never use.

1. Does it show all games?
2. Refresh it and you will see another wave of tons of avatars. :D
Hey! I wanted to step into your thread to say, "THANKS!" for you doing your part to reinforce Steam's position in the marketplace, and to encourage all of us to get screwed over by DRM. I appreciate you doing your part to dick yourself and everyone around you!

1. Yes
2. No
avatar
Roxolani: When I try to see official avatars page, it only provides avatars for my installed games + some random games. Even if I logout and then visit that page again, it just shows a random list of games. It's strange because that page was a full list of all available avatars. Now I'm forced to use google to see if a specific game has avatars.

-- Any solutions to see and browse all avatars in one page?
-- Or other solutions to find all games with official avatars?
hey , man! steam support is great!
avatar
PookaMustard: It seems I couldn't find an all in one page for all avatars. However, I think you can check the official group of any game and you'll find any avatars for that game there. Its not what you wanted, but that's all what I could come up with :_(

Sorry that Steam is terrible.
damnit. stop apologising for steam.
