As for your issue, you had no rep, just joined, hidden (at least now) profile. These are indicators of bits and spam, I know it’s unfortunate if you are a new user, but bots and spam are a real issue here and got frankly does very little about it. All I can say is this is the internet, need to thicken the skin a bit ;o)

Nope, spam comes in all kinds of forms. For instance me that pops up here a lot is “buy xyz potion to cure xyz”. Other examples can be more complex using AI bots and such like, there was a thread some time back where two AI bots were talking to each other, it was hilarious. If your new to the forum then just push on through, get a few posts on the board and you will be fine.

During winter yes. I like the hoppy bitter drinks so anything extra hoppy (I know hipster) pale ales and such like. Although you are right they are turning into alchopops. A good strong ale though doesn’t have as much sweetness.
