I have installed around 100
0 I havent played in 2 month or so.
Acording to Galaxy, 30. I do tend to keep it around that number or lower, though.

What happens is that I keep 3 or 4 games I'm currently playing through alternating, plus a few fighters I can easely drop in, play a little and drop out, plus a bunch of games I keep telling myself that I'll resume playing soon.
My entire GoG and Steam libraries.
I usually play one game from each of my genres at a time... FPS, RPG, adventure and stealth. Right now it's:

Stray
Call of Juarez Gunslinger
Hitman 3
Dragon Age 2

I usually have some random other stuff always installed, because of small file sizes or because I plan to play or replay it soonish. Right now that's:

Leisure Suit Larry Remastered (stopped halfway through)
Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 (recently finished)
Doom Eternal (still trying to care enough to play DLC)
Quake Remaster
GTA3

Also have these installed for my wife most of the time:

Lumines
Peggle 1 and 2
Zuma
See as i'm working to put my data on a NAS and working after a drive crashed, just 1.

How many are on my computer not-installed while i pull disc after blueray disc of backed up games out from 2 years ago? I don't know, probably 200+
Adding everything up, about 72. I tried to not count expansions, but because I was going by item counts in folders, it might be a little off.
I have 12 or so, Also, Civ 4 and Darkest Hour have always been on the PC.
I always have two installed. The game I am playing at the moment and "Slay the Spire" for in-between.

Before I discovered "Slay the Spire", I always had only one installed.
I usually don`t have installed more then 2-3 games at the same time.
Right now I only have XCOM Enemy Unknown and The Pedestrian installed on my pc.

I usually play only one game, second I have good download speed, I can download any game in few minutes so no point having more then few games installed, and i have small SSD only 250GB so I don`t have much room for bunch of games.
With my download speed I don`t have to install too many games, with 400 mbs i can donwload almost every game with less then 10 minutes, I play until i finish the game and delete the game when I`m finished... It`s how i do it...

Why do you have hundreds of games installed? I don`t see the point of that unless your connection is not that great...
Actually over 80. But many of them are quite old and only take about less than 500mb Space.
No idea. I have installed games from too many sources (Retail, GOG, Steam, Origin, Epic, torrented etc.). But I only uninstall games once I start running out of space. And I have a 1TB HDD and 2x 512 GB SSDs.

Sin6ularity: Why do you have hundreds of games installed?
I used to have only a few installed but found 9 times out of 10 I didn't bother playing the lesser popular titles if they weren't already installed, but would be more likely to play them if the bulk of the collection was. It's also a great feeling to have everything "on tap", 2TB SSD's have never been cheaper and older games take up so little space anyway. Alternative question - if you can, why not?

The entire point of GOG is that you don't need to re-download each game each time.
Answer : 409 across 5 drives.

Reason : Realization of a childhood fantasy.

Explanation : What if I could play any one of hundreds (or more) of games, at any time, with only the push of a few buttons ?

The entire point of GOG is that you don't need to re-download each game each time.
I don`t understand this. Can someone explain? I am new to gog, maybe I missed something...
usually I re-download every game, did I missed something?
