Is it via Galaxy? Are there any new servers for them, or does it work via LAN and Hamachi only?

Could you connect to someone with a CD version of the game, in case it uses new servers or Galaxy?

None of them use Galaxy at all for MP, all MP solutions are fan made.
and yes you could connect easily to existing cd users.

But it varies from game to game.

Edit: All the MP capable games (hidden evil is a single player adventure game) has "Multiplayer is available only via TCP/IP LAN. " splashed on the store page. I presume Armada I and II will be the same way when those release.
