I have only added a mod to the sims 3 before and I think that all I did was drag and drop the files into the game folder. I tried downloading a mod for another game and don't know how to make it work. I tried dragging and dropping the file into the game folder but it didn't work. Anyone know how to make it work?

When it comes to pc gaming I am a complete idiot and mostly prefer console gaming

some games are different, what game are you trying to add the mod to?

It depends on the game and mod in question. For good measure, I'd check if your mod has a .txt file in it which outlines how to install it, or at the very least the website where you obtained the mod. Some games let you drag and drop, some games let you do it via installation, and some mods are just pure weird, so again, it depends.

Perhaps link us the mod you're trying to install.
