Normally I don't like buying mystery bags, but I felt compelled to give this one a try.

I got Shadow Gate, In some ways this is perfect, A game I was mildly curious about but would never have bought directly. Let's hope I enjoy it.
1 game i was interested in, and 5 meh games i didn't want (with repeats because apparently i owned the rest).

All in all, disappointing for me... then again i have like 700 games...

I enjoyed insomnia sale more.
Surprisingly well, 8 out of 10 games I can dig into!
But would have loved to have gotten Spelunky yesterday... oh well maybe next piñata round!
All in all the most disappointing GOG sale yet.
Bought one game.
Whacked one pinata and got a game I already owned. Stopped right there.
Yeah, I tried the Pinata thing and it was something I've had for quite awhile... so I figured the rest of the sale would be like that. Discounts on things I don't have not enticing enough.
I prefer to know what I'm getting into.
I picked 3 pinatas and was 67% pleased with the results ... until I went over to Humble Bundle and found that I could have gotten the two I liked for less. Oh, well. Live and learn. :)
I liked the first set of pinatas and found the second set of sales meh.
Not so pleased with the second set of pinatas (already owned most that were good, got stuck with some marginal games), but I am eyeing a few games in the sale part this time. I'll probably pick up Sokobond and Door Kickers.

I'd say it was kinda mixed for me, but was nice to get some $15+ games for $3 the first round.
I did pretty well. I'm happy.
On the first day of the sale, I bought five pinatas. Realizing it was a mistake when all of the games were ones I would likely never play (two of which I really didn't want in my library at all) I decided to refund them. I'm still waiting for Support to respond to that request. Aside from that, I bought one game today and that's all.

All things considered, this is easily the worst GOG sale event I've seen so far. I hate the gimmick of getting random games, and with only 100 games for the sale in total, only 50 of which were available outside of the pinatas, it really doesn't feel special at all to me. More like a slightly bigger weekend promo and weekly staff picks, to be honest. It doesn't help that a lot of games just don't have very good discounts.

That's all just my opinion, of course, and I'm glad that some people had fun with it. Personally though, I'd rather we not see this one return.
I did okay with the 3 piñatas that I purchased, including Unrest: Special Edition which is a $24.95 game, even though it isn’t that highly rated.

But there was very little excitement in this gambling promotional. The Insomnia Sale had me excited for days and it was great fun following GOG members’ comments in this forum as new games were released!

I think Unrest is a really good game, it has very interesting story and seems to have high replayability.
Got some decent stuff and one thing I did not want. Traded it for 2 games that were on my list so I think it went well.

I have an aversion to gambling so I'm surprised I bought any pinatas at all.

I got:

Spelunky (made a mistake and did not select the gift option so I'm stck with it)
FTL
Shelter (Traded for Dracula 4-5)
HALFWAY

Not too bad. Wish Ii got Gods will be watching or Shadowrun.
