This has been answered. Thanks!

I decided to gift one of my game codes via a forum post. How can I tell when the code has been redeemed? I'd like to know so I can take down or edit my post to prevent disappointment.

Thank you!

Try redeeming the code yourself. If it has been redeemed, you should get a message "The code has already been used".

Under the account tab go to order and settings. Any game you bought is listed there and if it's been redeemed it will show to what account. If the game was a free reward like divine divinity it will not show up and there's no way to track who redeemed it.
Yeah, it's the free copy of Divine Divinity so the orders thing won't help.

Do I have to confirm when I hit "redeem"? I don't want to accidentally redeem it myself!

Once you type/copy-paste the code in the field, click Continue (you may also require to confirm a captcha) and it should do 1 of 2 things:

1) Show you the game(s) you are about to redeem and you will need to click Continue once more to actually redeem it (do note that if you already have the game, you can't redeem it again)
2) Tell you that the code has already been used.
Yes, that worked. Thank you all!
