Guys,
Can anyone teach me how to disable the Galaxy? everytime i click on the game icon on my desktop, the Galaxy will launch automatically. Is there anyway I can disable it? so that I can simply play my game in my computer without Galaxy online.
Thanks for your help,

1. Delete the shortcut on your desktop.
2. Go to the directory of wherever you installed the game. Default directory for Galaxy installations:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games
3. Find the application EXE.
4. Right-click > Sent to... > Desktop (create shortcut)

In the future, if you don't want to use Galaxy, you can uninstall Galaxy from your Programs list and then access offline installers in your account on https://gog.com:

1. Hover over [your username]
2. Games
3. Select game
4. Under [Download Offline Backup Installers] - download all the parts of the file and any relevant patches.
5. If the game is really big, make sure they're saved in the same directory, then launch part 1.
6. Launch the installer, choose your directory, finish.
7. Install any patches afterwards.

a) It depends how you installed the game. If you use Galaxy to install a game, then the link on the Desktop will indeed launch Galaxy.

b) If you installed the game using the offline installer, the link on the Desktop will point to the Game's .exe, without launching Galaxy

The tip in the previous post was correct, you can just replace the link.
But .... some games require more than just a link to the .exe files, ScummVM games or DosBox games for example require a parameter naming the configuration file.
Luckily, there's a solution at hand as well.
No matter how you installed the game, in the game directory you will always find a file called
"Launch <insert game name here>".
This is a link to the game's exe including the necessary parameters. You can copy this link to your desktop.

One last thing: After completing the installation, the offline installers offer you to launch the game. Do NOT launch it now using that buttoin, but complete the installation and then launch the game manually.
You ask why ? Because GOG tries to push Galaxy. If you click that button then the installer will start Galaxy or try to install it. Yes, it's that stupid, but it is what it is.

If you don't want to use Galaxy at all:
1. uninstall Galaxy
2. download offline installer
3. install games using the offline installers, do NOT click "launch game".
4. success
