New Q-tip and Busta Rhymes mixtape that smacks of nasty Tribe/Leaders of the New School vibes!

Got Phife Dawg, Talib Kweli, Lil Wayne, Raekwon, Missy Elliot AND FREAKING BIG DADDY KANE collabs. (Seriously, the Big Daddy Kane joint was off the fucking chain.)

Lots of remixes of established classics as well, Scenario Remixes, as well as some sneak peeks at ELE 2!

Best of all? It's free!

Also, Nekro/KGR Godfathers collab album is coming out soon! The first video is out and it's flipping nasty. Seems like 2013 is going out with a major bang.

With new albums from REKS, RA the Rugged Man, Swave Sevah, Killer Mike/El-P's Run the Jewels mixtape, new material from Wu, the Czarface Album, new Dirt Platoon, new Bankai Fam, Demigodz new stuff, new Hieroglyphics, and I could go on and on. This truly has been a great year for real creative hip hop.

NYC got called out, Kendrick Lamar smeared a lot of people in the game, and rightly so, and hopefully he continues to chase the Waka Flockas/Big Seans/Trinidad James types out of the game. Being talentless shouldn't be considered a style. >.>

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! I hadn't noticed the new Hieroglyphics album either.
Yupyup! There was even an Organized Konfusion reunion track on the new Marco Polo Port Authority 2 album that dropped last month.
Ya dont have to be UK to appreciate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruuCiueN0Jk
A must-listen for those into UK stuff / wanting to break into it!

Not everybody is a fan, but hey - the entire back catalogue of De La Soul for free from their site for a day?

Worth considering!

Are you kidding me? How cool is that? O_o

Is that a world-wide offer or region-restricted? Quite predictably though the servers seems to be overloaded right now ... :(
EDIT: Oh, and it hasn't even started yet, heh. Check back in 3 hours. :D

Yeah, this has to be the best thing for heads everywhere!
Just a reminder, the Don't Fnk up our beats 6 contest started at midnight tonight. Some of the entries are pretty lame though, imo.
Where the fuck have my last two posts gone?!

...must be a part of the derepidemic!

Well, fuck that, heres SHOTTY VS. ARSENOL!
That reminds me: Freddie Gibbs/Madlib collab is out now: Cocaine Pinata. GREAT album. It's like listening to an old Spice 1 or MC Eiht album back in the day, only with modernized flows/metaphors and terminology.

I fully recommend it.

Damn - I'm a month late to comment but worth mentioning that 3 Feet High and Rising is one of the best albums ever. Love De La Soul and some of the stuff they did with A Tribe Called Quest - only surpassed by Gorillaz/De La Soul's Feel Good Inc.
