Does anyone in that video seem familiar? Published by Polytron, ring any bells?

That's right, It's everyone's favourite indie dev Phil "Twitter Meltdown" Fish.

Last known for being the pissiest bitch in the game industry and swearing to quit the game industry "this time for realsies, seriously guys". Many people thought he overdosed on drugs after the failure of his gig as DJ Fishsticks.

But instead he's alive and kicking and crawled back into the industry like the attention whore he is.

I loved FEZ. So why not?
EDIT: This new game doesn't seem that very interesting to me.

That's good. Fez was a very good, original and very charming game. So if he can continue it will be interesting to see what he makes next.

Is that him? Admittedly, I've not closely studied him or anything, but having watch Indie Game: The Movie, that doesn't look like him...

I liked Fez well enough, but this looks boring. I wouldn't boycott it because Phil Fish, but whatever...

After half of no shocking surprise and a quick jumping forward in steps towards the end... nope, thats not the Cube I expected. Then again, a Cure VR experience might be a bit too much.

To be more OT: The dev sounds like a jerk. But maybe he had a breakdown & is good now. Unless it happend several time ppl should give him a chance if the game picks their interest.

And to everybody interested in a Cube game experience I'd strongly suggest the very professional done Cube Experimental mod for Fallout 3; its very different from the rest of the game.

Agreed. All I thought during the video was "oh... a reimagination of Tetris" and I currently am looking for more in games than the arcade thing of "just go on doing this one thing for as long as you can manage", instead I want a set goal to work towards and some manner of path to follow.

I mean, it doesn't look like a bad game, just not what I'm looking for. And yeah, Fez was great.

Someone that the "gaming community" doesn't like because he's well... OK he's probably a dick, but it's because he has a very short fuse and people keep lighting it on purpose. His only game that I've played (FEZ) is pretty good though, and I don't care much about "gamer drama" or I'd be in the gamergate thread, wouldn't I? :P
