Here's a message from a real GOG gamer with 1588 games on my account: Release Devotion.

I've supported GOG for years. I gave you guys the benefit of the doubt with the Gamergate tombstone incident, I supported GOG in the #WontBeErased farce, even though I'm GQ myself, because I can't get on board with the whole "perpetually offended" nonsense. I've given GOG the benefit of the doubt as GOG floats towards abandoning its DRM-free principles by neglecting offline installers and toying with Epic Games Store integration.

But I won't support GOG when it comes to appeasing dictatorships. Red Candle Games made what was presumed to be a mistake (even if it wasn't, tough shit). They made content adjustments that they really shouldn't have made under political pressure, and now they continue to be harassed and bullied by one of the most malevolent dictatorships in the world.

I am afraid that will not happen.

Give out Cyberpunk and then a week later remove a game because you give in to the world's largest dictatorship. Talking about irony... My order of Cyberpunk hasn't arrived yet, Cancelled it now. Will look for a new place to buy games.

While I understand that business is business and that occasionally leads to decisions that aren't morally pure, the combination of misleading a potential business partner standing in a less fortunate position and blaming it on the poorly defined customers is beyond this. Very, very poor move, GOG. I hope you reconsider.
