each time I open the game,it turns out to the green screen,I can't even go to the main menu

You can use CorsixTH which is a re-implementation of the game. It allows you to run it at high resolutions, as well as having alot more options and is alot more reliable than the DOS or Windows version. (You still need to have the game installed.)

Should you not want to go that route, are you running the DOS version of the Windows version?
