Greetings, Cinephiles!

Since you were so kind to find the movie I never finished decades ago and couldn't remember the name, I have a new challenge which probably will be easier. Sadly, my Google Mojo has not helped.

Note: I could be confusing 2 movies here. If so, I hope someone can name them both:

The movie(s) should have debuted around the 70's or early 80's. It was in color, but the styles were dated to the late 60's through 70's.

Here are 2 scenes I remember which could be 2 different movies:

1) Protagonist discovers training room filled with mannequins at a banquet and has shootout. This room was used to brainwash/train someone or some people to assassinate the speaker at an upcoming event.

2) Protagonist and companion while searching for answers stumble on where protagonist was brainwashed (or others). I remember it looked like a mission control room and maybe there was a large radar dish outside the building?

I don't know if this (or either of these) was the Manchurian Candidate as I don't think it was B&W. Also, I don't think it was Three Days of the Condor.

Hopefully I've described enough to identify these 1 or 2 movies.

Yeah, this is what I was going to suggest. And even if it's not you should watch it as it's a damn good movie.

No, it wasn't Conspiracy Theory. That's the wrong decade or decades. Loved the firewall in the apartment! Another good one, but not the one I'm thinking of. There was a control room but that definitely was not the movie. That was a clever subliminal brainwashing of the masses, but this was more intentional brainwashing and less sci-fi alieny. I'm going to have to look at this one further, but I don't think so-- Oh wow! You found it! How'd you do that?!?!?

Although a 1991 movie, I think it was a low budget so the costumes were a bit late '80's. Anyway, both scene 1 & 2 were both of that movie (after finding a bad copy to skim). Not sure why it was such a memorable movie for me, but thank you catermune!!!

Equilibrium? Clerics?

Oops, I missed the 70's or 80's line in OP. It has already been found, both 1 and 2 are from Timebomb according to chadjenofsky.
