DieRuhe: Ok, I must be losing my mind. I looked through my post history because I had this issue a while ago, and I went back and read the solution. But it doesn't seem to work now.

I have an issue with text not being properly aligned in menus, and the solution that worked before was "right click the shortcut, change compatibility mode."

But now when I right click on the shortcut, there's no option for changing compatibility mode, either in the Steam icon itself or in the desktop shortcut. Am I a moron? Am I overlooking or missing something?

edit: changing monitor resolution has no effect.

trentonlf: When I right click on the link in my pinned menu and go to properties there is a tab there for compatibility mode, Windows 7 64 bit
